Mr. Levin received a B. Arts degree in English and subsequently the professional degree, B. Architecture, during the tumultuous 1960s from the University of California, Berkeley. From 1978 to 1989, he was Research Specialist at the College of Environmental Design, and from 1978 to 1983, Lecturer in the Department of Architecture, University of California, Berkeley. From 1978 to 1983, he was Lecturer in the Department of Environmental Studies, University of California, Santa Cruz. He recently retired as Scientist, Indoor Environment Department, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, where he worked from 2000 to 2005.
